Okay, so you haven’t heard of Louise Parker? That don’t impress me much. Ah ah-ooh ah🎶

If your taste is a beautiful blonde who can sing, play guitar, & has an affinity for dad jokes then please let me introduce you to Louise Parker. A singer-songwriter with a fabulous back catalogue in which she’s built since her teens, you’re sure to find something you’ll like.

From studying music at college & university she’s gone on to achieve four number 1’s on the iTunes Country Charts and many more hitting the top 10’s.

Chelmsford may be Louise’s hometown, but it’s definitely her time spent living in Nashville, TN that released her true inner country girl that was destined to shine.

With a combined total of 31k+ followers across all her platforms she’s certainly cultivated a loyal following who are sure to be found in the crowd at her gigs or joining her monthly Live Streams online.

So let’s say you’re looking for a classic country vibe with a Carrie Underwood level of sass? Put on ‘Rear View Mirror - Reimagined’. You’re sure to feel an emotion & personality with any Louise Parker song and this one is a sure perfect example of that. You hear the cheek in her voice whilst she singing how “you suit my rear view mirror”, with this air of jest & fun. Despite being in a happy, long-term relationship, I just want to blast it like a single lady who don’t need no man.

Let’s talk ‘Tequila Sunset’. This is an ultimate summer song for me & honestly my favourite song of hers. When this song came out I could not stop singing it. It’s a straight up ear worm in the best way possible with a catchy chorus & playful rhythm. Louise just has this voice that, personally, hits a sweet spot with the the way she gracefully switches between her lower and higher registers.

The ‘Tequila Sunset’ music video visually pleases with the classic arcade aesthetic of neon lights, bright colours, & a subtle nod toward 90s styling of double denim and butterfly hair clips. Louise simply stuns in every way, so if you only listen to one song, make it this one.

I’m very excited to see what 2024 brings for Louise Parker (fingers crossed for new music soon) and I’ll most definitely be at one of her gigs this year.
