NAOMI JON is the ‘Villain of Your Our Dreams’ in London.

German star, Naomi Jon brings her ‘Villain of Your Dreams’ tour to the UK, stopping in London, Manchester and Bristol. Well known on YouTube for her fun content dyeing her hair wild colours, trying different foods, outfits, and even collabing with the fantastic likes of Jade Thirlwall and Perry Edwards from Little Mix. (of which I find myself quoting “ahoj brause” too often.. if you’re a fellow Broccoli, you get it). Naomi Jon released her self-titled debut single ‘NAOMI’ back in 2021 and since then has consistently produced back to back hits. Last august she dropped her album titled ‘Villain of Your Dreams’ which oozes a cool alternative/electric-pop style with even elements of rap. If you’re a fan of Ashnikko then I think Naomi Jon is a great artist to add to your playlists.
Supporting Naomi on her tour is singer-songwriter Felicia Lu. Felicia starts her set with her song ‘Bigger One’ from her album ‘BITTER’ which was released back in December. She instantly owns the stage, dancing back and forth and even getting the crowd to squat down and then jump during a song (youth of today, appreciate you can do that whilst you still can - because my 31 year old knees could never). Getting further into the set Felicia Lu plays other songs such as ‘Just Fine’, ‘Numb’, ‘Play With Fire’, and (personal favourite) ‘We’re All Gonna Die’.
‘BITTER’ is actually one half of the overall project with her next album titled ‘BITTERSWEET’ that is to be released 6th June later this year. In an Instagram post Felicia describes ‘BITTER’ as “- me saying goodbye to many things I don’t want to carry into my future”. With this half already being a solid set of songs, I look forward to hearing the 2nd half when ‘BITTERSWEET’ is released.
Felicia finishes up her set with ‘Someone Else’ and ‘Better After You’ leaving the crowd hyped and more excited for Naomi Jon.

Naomi Jon took to the stage and the crowd screamed with so much excitement. With a metal fence for back-drop donned with fluorescent strobe lighting giving a cool industrial feel, Naomi and her 2 dancers give nothing but pure energy the whole night. I’ve not had the opportunity to see Naomi Jon live before & I haven’t caught any previous tour content, so I was stunned to hear how great her vocals were even whilst serving to the gods with dancing. From her recent album she sings songs such ‘Cupid’s Arrow’, ‘Ugly’, ‘The Fake & The Famous’ with fans singing along at the top of their lungs. At one point of the evening fake money adorned with Naomi’s face rains down. Definitely a fun touch. Definitely kept one for the memories.
For this London show Naomi rocks a hot pink hair, black knee-high boots and a sheer black body suit, which when looking back at photos I discovered the pattern is made of up the word ‘slut’. High-key obsessed with this, her entire wardrobe for this tour has been stunning and every look has been impeccable.
Asking for crowd participation on the next song ‘Placebo’, she splits the crowd into two with one side chanting “Placebo” and the other side “Painkiller” with both sides matching in volume. Naomi introduces the next song as being from a UK singer and the music to Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’ starts playing whilst Naomi tells the crowd to sing along with her. Overall it was a great gig and Naomi Jon clearly put in a lot of time and effort to create such a great show & her passion for music really comes through. I hope I get to see her live again as I look forward to seeing her grow as an artist.
